Job Descriptions:
Triage patients, measure vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, height and record information on patients' chart.
Perform vena puncture.
Prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients.
Drape patients with covering and position instruments and equipment.
Hand instruments and materials to doctor and directed.
Clean and sterilize instruments.
Operate electrocardiograph (EKG), and other equipment to administer routine diagnostic test or call medical facility or department to schedule patients for test.
Give injections or treatments, and perform routine laboratory tests.
Perform secretarial tasks, and complete insurance forms.
Assist in minor surgical procedures.
Work under 6 doctors.
Medical Skills:
Vascular ultrasound (lower, upper extremities and carotid)Gynecological and obstetrical ultrasound
Abdomen, breast and small parts ultrasound
ACUSON 128XP ultrasound machine GE VOLUSON PRO 730 ultrasound machine Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and terminology
Train in HIPAA and OSHA.
