Job Descriptions:
Perform in-home nursing for individual clients for company on an on-call basis as required.
My responsibilities include: tube feedings, catheters, enemas, preparation of client meals, bathing clients if needed, ambulating patients, physical therapy, BP cks, assisting patient in/out of wheelchairs and other prosthetic devices.
Perform a variety of other complicate nursing tasks as require by the nurse on shift.
Clinical Skills: Monitoring vital signs, charting, exam methods, ECG's, storage of biomedical waste, and CPR.
Lab Procedures: Microscope usage, collecting specimens, smear procedures, occult blood tests, glucose tests, and urinalysis.
Administrative Duties and Health Insurance Processing: Computer usage, coding, patient scheduling, and claims processing.
