Job Descriptions:
Record vital signs on patients
Perform venipuncture & finger sticks on adults & children
Prepare rooms and patients for examination by doctor
Assist during GYN procedures, performed pregnancy tests
Prepare and send out specimens for laboratory testing
Schedule appointments for office and out-patient procedures
Perform EKG's and PPD's
Fill out requisition forms
Verify patient insurance eligibility & authorizations
Maintain patient charts in strict observance of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality requirements
Maintain office equipment, prepare superbills and order office supplies.
